Consumer Advisory Body
YOUR VOICE MATTERS
At Princes Court, we believe care is strongest when it’s shaped by the people who experience it.
Our Consumer Advisory Body (CAB) gives our residents, families, and representatives the opportunity to share their perspectives, ideas, and lived experiences – helping us continue to deliver excellence in care and lifestyle across our Mildura aged care Homes and At Home services.
What Is the Consumer Advisory Body?
The Consumer Advisory Body (CAB) provides a formal way for older people and their representatives to share ideas, raise issues, and contribute to improvements across our Mildura aged care services.
The group focuses on the overall quality of care and services – not individual concerns – helping guide our Board through feedback, discussion, and collaboration.
The Board considers all feedback from the CAB, responding in writing after each meeting about how the group’s input has been used to inform decisions.
Why It Matters
By establishing this Body, Princes Court is strengthening our commitment to partnership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
It’s another step towards our purpose of supporting older people to live well, every day – ensuring every voice is heard and respected.
How It Works
The CAB meets at least twice a year (in person or online).
Members may be invited to join focus groups, review documents, or complete surveys.
Membership is voluntary and runs for one year, with the possibility of extension.
Who Can Join?
Anyone who uses Princes Court services – or their representative or carer – can express interest in joining.
We welcome people with a range of experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives, and support all members with resources and information to help them participate effectively.
