Permanent CEO Announced to Steer Growth Projects at Princes Court Aged Care in Mildura

Experienced executive leader and longstanding Mildura resident, Anthony Couroupis, has been announced as the permanent CEO of the largest Mildura aged care provider, Princes Court, with two major growth projects at the top of Mr Couroupis’ agenda.

Mr Couroupis was appointed as Interim CEO of Princes Court in January this year but Princes Court Board of Directors Chair, Lyn Heaysman, said his strong performance since then had convinced the Board he was the right leader to steer the organisation through change and growth ahead.

“We’re delighted to have such an experienced, motivated and engaging leader as Anthony to take us forward,” Ms Heaysman said. “Anthony is a passionate local and knows Princes Court well and is well respected by staff and residents, so he is a perfect fit to oversee two major growth projects for Princes Court – the building of a new $23.5 million 50 bed residential aged care facility and the expansion of our Princes Court At Home service which supports the needs of the aged by providing Mildura aged care services in their own homes.

“Aged care is a rapidly changing industry but Anthony’s seasoned expertise in strategic and collaborative management will ensure Princes Court remains at the forefront of aged care in the Sunraysia region,” Ms Heaysman said.

Mr Couroupis said he looks forward to maintaining Princes Court’s reputation for excellence in quality aged care in Mildura.

“It’s been a wonderful three months since I was appointed Interim CEO, and I’m thrilled my permanent appointment will give me the scope to navigate our growth in the long term,” Mr Couroupis said.

“The new 50-bed Mildura aged care facility we are planning will be a major and very exciting addition and we’re also keen to expand our At Home services which assist the aged to live full and independent lives in the comfort of their own homes. Both these projects will be keystones of my tenure at Princes Court, fuelled by my overriding objective of delivering the best standards in aged care possible.

“I’m also keen to nurture the rich connections that exist within Princes Court retirement village in Mildura, and to build even stronger links between our Mildura aged care facilities and the wider community.” Mr Couroupis said.
