Princes Court is proud to announce the reappointment of three experienced directors and the addition of two highly skilled new members to its Board of Directors, following our 2024 Annual General Meeting. This milestone reflects our commitment to delivering excellence in care and lifestyle for the ageing community of Mildura.
This year’s Annual General Meeting marked a pivotal moment in our journey, as we welcomed a strengthened Board of Directors and unveiled a new strategic plan to guide Princes Court into the future.
For over 65 years, Princes Court has served the region as a trusted aged care provider, offering a vibrant environment where residents can thrive. From independent living to specialised dementia and palliative care, our services are underpinned by our purpose of “Excellence in care and lifestyle.” With a new strategic plan and strengthened leadership, Princes Court is poised to navigate the future with confidence and purpose.
A Strategy for Excellence
Our 2024 Strategic Plan sets aspirational goals across four key areas: reputation, those we support, finances, and employees. With a focus on strengthening governance, fostering stakeholder engagement, ensuring financial sustainability, and prioritising staff development, the plan reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality care and services.
Chair Lyn Heaysman explained, “This strategy builds on our heritage of care while preparing us to navigate the evolving aged care environment. It’s about ensuring we continue to provide the security, comfort, and peace of mind our residents and their families trust us for.”
Strengthened Leadership
Central to achieving our strategic goals is the leadership of a dynamic and diverse Board. The reappointment of experienced directors and the addition of two new members bring a balance of continuity and fresh perspectives to Princes Court’s governance.
- Lyn Heaysman, Chair, brings over 30 years of not-for-profit governance experience, supported by her financial expertise and leadership in key committees such as Finance and Audit, Clinical Governance, and Planning and Building.
- Peter Hartmann, Deputy Chair, leverages his deep connection to Mildura and business advisory expertise to drive planning, building projects, and stakeholder engagement.
- Paula Gordon, a long-standing community advocate, continues her vital contributions to clinical governance and community development.
Joining them are two outstanding new directors, Troy Bailey and Narelle Heard, whose complementary expertise will help Princes Court achieve its strategic goals.
