Princes Court

Cultural & spiritual experiences

As in the greater community, cultural diversity is part of everyday life at Princes Court.

We understand and value that each person’s culture forms their individual makeup. Upon entry, a full history is recorded to assist staff in understanding the resident’s needs and cultural background. Connections and relationships are necessary to ensure the correct balance and support is offered for a fulfilling lifestyle at our Mildura aged care facility.

Residents are supported in their cultural choices, which are incorporated into the daily running of our aged care facility in Mildura.

Culturally significant dates are recognised with appropriate celebrations, organised in conjunction with families who are encouraged to participate on all occasions.

Programs are flexible in planning to cater for diet, language, and other personal choices. Princes Court Homes have several resources to support cultural choices, including The Chapel which is situated in the centre of the facility and offers a quiet retreat for worshipers with community churches, groups, and volunteers.
