Social events

News about upcoming social events is communicated on notice boards in every unit at our Mildura retirement village, and through a daily announcement service. We also encourage residents to remain active within the Mildura community and we participate in several community events.

Group outings are arranged according to interest, and in the case of a small number of residents showing interest. The Princes Court bus is available to transport residents.  Lifestyle staff may also arrange family or volunteers to assist the resident to attend their chosen event or venue.

It’s our wish that all our Princes Court community have full and contented days. Our Mildura ged care staff are available to provide assistance when and where it is needed. The Lifestyle Department coordinates a wide and varied program for group activities and for individual pursuits.

For an understanding of what residents are involved in at Princes Court Homes, please view our Facebook as it provides a wonderful insight into the activities.

Physical activities

Residents at our Mildura aged care homes are offered physical exercise through walking groups, gentle assisted exercise, chair exercise, sport and games tailored to suit different needs.

We encourage those residents with a passion for gardening to continue to do so, with our gardening staff always welcoming any assistance offered.

Resources available for use with physical fitness include a full size pool table,  indoor bowls, skittles, hooky board, and an assortment of other games and equipment.

Walking to and from areas within our lovely gardens in the fresh air is a key component of everyday life at Princes Court retirement villages in Mildura.

Personal interests

We have an amazing array of personal interest groups within our community! Our groups meet with others of similar leisure pursuits, enjoying each other’s company, opinions, and shared ideas.

Everyone is welcomed, no matter their abilities or strengths, and can receive support to network within the team and at their ability level.

Personal interest groups benefit from a vast collection of support networks, such as community field trips, guest speakers, written information, residents, and volunteers. Members of community-based clubs and groups are encouraged to maintain connections and are assisted to do so.
