Mildura Retirement Villages

Moving Into Our Residential Homes

Incoming residents are given the utmost emotional support and assistance when moving into Princes Court Homes.

Individual needs and preferences are not only identified but supported in all facets of life. Residents at our Mildura retirement village are supported to maintain their independence, social connections, leisure, and lifestyle choices including cultural and spiritual life.

As an accredited Mildura aged care provider, there are some items we are required to provide for you in your room. These include things such as a bed, and associated bedding, air-conditioning, window furnishings, and your own ensuite bathroom.

It’s also important that you can surround yourself with the things you love, so we encourage you to bring special items of furniture and personal effects, to make your room feel like home.
The only thing we ask residents and families to consider is the risks in having a ‘cluttered’ room. This could make it difficult for staff to properly clean and provide care to you or may even pose a falls risk while you are moving around. We can work with you on setting your room up to be as safe as possible, while still feeling like it’s your own.

We also encourage you to bring in your personal lounge chair or recliner to provide comfort and familiarity at our aged care home in Mildura. Electronic lift chairs are also welcomed but they will be required to be tested and tagged by our maintenance staff before use.
